Our first full day home

Well, the start was smooth. But we have had some rough points today. Michael has to learn to share and not throw toys. And the other kids have to be reassured that they have not lost there place. Everyone is a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Please don't take me wrong. It has not been that bad, but we all definitely need to adjust to the new makeup of our family.

So glad Michael got a good night's sleep. That sleep will be so helpful as begins processing all the huge changes in his life.

I have no doubt that everyone will settle into the new family dynamic and "find their place," and that Michael will make a good adjustment. However, if you need someone to talk or email with, or need someone to take Matthew and Alisha during an evening or the weekend so that you can have more one-on-one time with him, please let me know.

I'm sure that he is experiencing normal reactions to his whole world changing, as all of you are, but praise the Lord that he is finally home! Also, I'm sure it definitely will be a while before he fully understands that you are his forever family, but it will be worth it! He is so precious!
